Wilus Inc., in collaboration with Professor Ji Hoon Yoon’s team from Seoul National University of Science and Technology, made a contribution to IEEE ACCESS Journal with a paper on CLOUD VR processing. Their research focuses on the development of wireless VR systems.

Dr. Ju-hyung Son, Wi-Fi standards expert of Wilus, attended the ‘Seminar for Next Generation Wireless Technology and IOT services 2018’ hosted by the Telecommunications Technology Association (TTA), the Korea Association of Smart Home (KASH), and the OCF Korea Forum. Dr. Son gave talks on the standardization phases of the latest Wi-Fi Technology.
Dr. Woo Jin Anh, Wilus Wi-Fi expert, attended the Joint workshop for IEEE/IETF standards technologies’ hosted by the Telecommunications Technology Association (TTA) and Moving Pictures Experts Group New Media Forum of Korea. Dr. Anh gave talks on standardization phases of IEEE802.11 EHT Next Generation WLAN.
At the 3rd General Assembly of the Intellectual Property Innovative Company Council held recently in Seoul, Wilus received a ministerial commendation (IP R&D 최우수기관 장관상) from the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy (MOTIE) in recognition of its outstanding achievements in IP and R&D strategy.
The commissioner of the Korean Intellectual Property Office (KIPO) Park Won-Joo spoke at the ceremony, calling for SMEs to pursue innovative growth through IP and R&D strategy.
