Wilus participated in the GICS 2019 Global ICT standards conference on October 18th, 2019. During the GICS conference hosted by the Ministry of Science and Technology, Wilus shared their LAA technology research outputs. Wilus' Licensed-Assisted Access (LAA) using LTE technology has been selected as outstanding technology by the Ministry of Science and Technology. Wilus is continuously participating in NR Unlicensed technology standardization.
Wilus standards experts participated in ICT standards education for standardization specialists - Fundamentals of international standards for mobile communication hosted by the Telecommunications Technology Association (TTA) and the Ministry of Science and Technology on September 2nd, 2019. This education event was the second follow-up event after the first standards education also hosted by the TTA on July 24 and 26, 2019. Wilus standards experts gave their insights on the topic of 5G-NR based unlicensed spectrum standards, high-throughput, low latency communication and Industrial IoT.
Dr. Jin Sam Kwak, CEO of Wilus, participated in the wireless and mobile communication trends of 2019 in a short term lecture hosted by the Journal of Korea Information and Communications Society (KICS) on August 28, 2019. Dr. Kwak talked about the topic of 3GPP 5G NR Overview and Physical Layer during the Wireless Mobile System section.
