WILUS Inc. was selected and certified as the top 100 national research project facility by the Ministry of Science and ICT of Korea for the development of IEEE 802.11AX Research. WILUS Inc. was selected as the national research project facility for the IEEE 802.11 High Efficiency WLAN (HEW) standards.

During the process, WILUS Inc. made over 80 standards proposals, and 30 of them were adopted as standards. WILUS Inc. also filed over 120 patents both in Korea and overseas, and received a 1 Million Dollar investment from SK Telecom for technology transfer.

This is the first time for a standardization project to be selected as the top 100 national research project facility by the Ministry of Science and ICT of Korea.
