The Korean Intellectual Property Office (KIPO) presented WILUS Inc. with a certification of ‘Excellence in Employee Invention Promotion’ on June 26, 2017. This designation recognizes WILUS’s systematic approach to IP portfolio development and exemplary inventor compensation system.

As an R&D-based research lab, ideas and patents are WILUS’s most important assets. WILUS encourages researchers to actively apply for patents in order to secure protection for their valuable innovations and provides exceptional compensation to inventors at each stage of the patent acquisition process.

KIPO’s ‘Excellence in Employee Invention Promotion’ program is intended to promote the adoption of employee invention rewards and fair compensation policies for inventors by identifying SMEs that are leaders in this area.
