As 5G Standards developments are coming to an end, the competition for 5G SEP development is intensifying. WILUS Inc., along with other major tech firms, was introduced on Korean Economics (한국경제), one of the biggest economics review newspaper in Korea. According to their article published on December 1st, 2019, South Korea's 5G Standard family patents ranked 2nd after china quoting the IP Consultation firm IPlytics. WILUS Inc. is continuously participating in 5G Based NR Unlicensed technology standardizaiton at un unprecedented rate considering being an SME. WILUS owns 41 5G technology standard patents as of september 2019.
